Welcome to Knothead Safety!  I am Knothead Ned and I believe that any knothead can be safe and have created this site to provide resources that any old knothead can utilize to make sure that they do!  I hope that you will take a few minutes and join our site by becoming a Safety Knothead!  We don't want you to join so we can spam you, we want you to join to take advantage of the free resources we are going to offer in the members only area of the website, and, to give you the opportunity to interact with other Safety Knotheads, sharing ideas, tips, reviews of safety products and help me with our interactive safety blog, where any Safety Knothead will be able to participate where I pose a question, problem or insight, and as a Safety Knothead you will have opportunity to register to become an SK blogger, sharing your expertise, and at the same time, networking with other safety professionals.

There is nothing as lonely as being told you wear the "safety hat", or are the "director of safety" or "safety compliance officer", all, of course, in additional to all the other duties you already preform.  But have no fear, becoming a Safety Knothead will make you part of a unique group of like-minded individuals who face the same dilemma - How do we create a culture of safety that people embrace?  Learn and share with other Safety Knotheads and we can truly make our workplaces, safer and happier workplaces!

The resources in this section include Safety Breaks, which are outlines for weekly "tool box" safety meetings that you can use to provide meaningful, weekly safety topics that will enhance the safety of your workplace, keeping you or your employees safer and hopefully eliminating workplace injuries and accidents.

It will soon include some model safety programs that you can use as templates for your own safety and health programs that are required by OSHA, as well as reviews on safety products from other Safety Knotheads.  My goal is to provide a forum where we can share ideas and insights that will make safety first and foremost in our minds, making sure that everyone who goes to work in the morning, is able to return home safely at night.
